Al-Bushra Public School was founded by internationally removed Islamic Scholar & Social reformer Janab Maulana Ali Abbas Khan Najafi in the year 2006. The mission behind this was to give primary education to the poorest among the poors of the society especially minority community. The school was initially started with 70 students.
At present the school has grown to the strength of more than 120 students. The school is having a computer lab, well furnished library alongwith well ventilated classrooms.
The school is having classes from Nursery to class XII and the students are provided uniform and shoes for all the seasons, free of cost. No fee is charged with the students and medical check ups are done.
The school aims at providing quality education and high moral values to the students for all round development of the child. The teaching staff is highly qualified and trained for all round development of the students.
The whole syllabus in each class is divided into three terms, viz. quarterly, half-yearly and annual examination. Monthly tests are also taken to check the weaknesses. National festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day are celebrated every year on 15th August and 26th January respectively. National leaders are invited on the occasion.
Medical Check-up of all students is held twice a year. It has been observed that a number of children have weak eyesight. Spectacles are arranged for such children.
There are separate sections for overage students and a special syllabus is designed for such students. A school literary club has been established. There is also a book bank. Picnics and educational tours are also organized. Free bus service is provided to students coming from distant places. There are two school vans and rickshaws fetching students distant areas.
