The Aditya Birla Public School, Hirmi was established as DAV Public School in the year 1992, under the aegis of L&T Cements Ltd and was rechristened as the Aditya Birla Public School,Hirmi in the year 2006 after the takeover by the Ultra Tech Cements Ltdof Aditya Birla Group.The school was set up to fulfill the need of quality education for the children of Ultra Tech Cements Ltd.Hirmiemployeesand the surrounding locality.

The school is located at Hirmi, (Baloda Bazar district, Chhattisgarh) at about 18 km from Tilda Railway station and 70 km from Swami Vivekananda Airport,Raipur,Chhattisgarh.
