K.V SAC, Vastrapur was established in August 1981 as a project school under the patronage of D.O.S for imparting education to the children. To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education collaboration with other bodies like the central board of secondary education (CBSE) and the national council of educational research and training (NCERT), etc. KendriyaVidyalaya (SAC) made a beautiful beginning in the year 1980 under the guidance of Professor Yashpal, the 1st Chairman of the Vidyalaya. Vidyalaya has a serene campus with well equipped Science Labs, Computer Lab, Primary resource centre and Audio - Visual Room well equipped with latest technology of OHP, LCD, VCD, Computers etc. One of the main objectives of education over the years has been to empower the learners to sail in fresh water - to be innovative, creative, adventures & enterprising.
