Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, Ankleshwar started in the year 1979-80 has been on the roads towards progress and is achieving new heights of success every year. Managed and administered under the dynamic, energetic and progressive Principal, Shri L N GOSWAMI, the school has maintained its dignity and pride while inculcating and incorporating new technology in every field. The worthy, well qualified and sincere staff is everready and enthusiastic to maintain discipline, academic atmosphere and punctuality in the school. The school is equipped with well furnished Science Labs, Resource Room, Audio Visual Room, Computer Labs, Sports Room and a spacious playground with excellent results every year academically, the school is set to embark upon success.

The building of the school comprises of two wings ? Senior wing and Primary wing thus enabling proper functioning of each section. 

The classrooms are spacious and the number is sufficient for the level of each class. 

There are Physics, Chemistry and Biology Laboratories with adequate instruments and materials. 

There are separate Junior Science Lab and Maths Lab equipped with sufficient materials. 

There are two computer labs with 41 computers available on an average for every student separately. 

Broadband connection is available for high speed internet . 

There are particular departments for Audio Visual Aids, Music, indoor sports thus enabling continuous and proper progress in every field, whether academic or co curricular. 

The lavatories are clean and separate for students and staff and maintained regularly. 

A spacious basket ball court, according to the standards of National level, is present within the school premises.  

Apart from that a huge playground is there for various outdoor activities.
