Kendriya Vidyalaya No.4 ONGC Vadodara

DESCRIPTION :

K.V. ONGC, BARODA is a project school, sponsored by ONGC, BARODA. It is located in the premises of the ONGC colony with greenery in abundance. With a well-planned layout, maintained in a spic and span manner, started in Sept. 1993, the vidyalaya has come a long way since. Marching towards adulthood, the vidyalaya has developed to the desired extent. Renovations and additions to the previous infrastructure facilities have given a face lift to the vidyalaya, which is comparable with any institute of high standard.

As per KVS norms, the Principal & teachers are highly qualified and experienced who constantly stirve towards developing the personality of our children by exposing them to a variety of activities, apart from academics, in the field of music, sports, Art, academic-based co-curriculars, Exhibitions, etc. at the school, Regional and also at national level.

As a result, the vidyalaya has made its mark in many areas whose details are available under 'Achievements'.

As on date, the total enrolment is 484. Majority of the students belong to the parents from ONGC. Others come from Defence, Railways, etc.

The vidyalaya is putting in, all efforts to achieve not only 100% results at both the Board Examinations, but also towards achieving merit at these exams.

As is the culture of KVs, our Vidyalaya strives towards inculcating in the students feeling of nationalism, brotherhood, social & cultural harmony, secularism and scientific temper.
