Kushum Vidhyalaya is the offshoot of the vision of Samarpan Charities, thriving on the founding principles of serving low-income families, child development, education, women employment and social justice. This renowned trust has measured up with the objectives laid down by the founder, Late Shri Ambelal R. Desai, the younger brother of our beloved Former Prime Minister, Late Shri Morarji Desai, who also hailed from Valsad.

The land on which the school proudly stands is the benign contribution of the founder for the overall development of the residents of Valsad. Admeasuring approximately 20000 sq. miters, this land stands testimony to the selflessness of the Desai Family in particular and the focus of Samarpan Charities in general. Samarpan Charities is an NGO, active in the field of child development in South Gujarat. It is committed to encourage the rich culture and heritage by providing competent options for education. Forging ahead with this focus and convinced that the child?s primary education must be taught in the mother tongue, the trust started off with a Gujarati Medium School also started an English Medium Section.

Nevertheless, to facilitate the intermingling of the mother tongue and English, the trust has got both the sections on the same platform - Kusum Vidhyalaya.
