The Army Welfare Education Society is a registered body under the Societiesb Registration Act XXI of 1860 vide Registrar of Societies Delhi Administration, Delhi, Certificate No S/13459 dated 29 Apr 83 for the purpose of establishing and running Army Public Schools and vocational colleges/institution. Army Public School, Bhuj is one of the schools under the aegis of AWES, with the aim of imparting quality education to wards of defence personnel posted in and around Bhuj. 

Army Public School, Bhuj has come a long way in imparting knowledge to the children of Army personnel since 1980 and continues to march ahead with the specific aim of providing the best quality education to the students. The school with its dedicated efforts and consistent endeavor has created an identity for itself in Bhuj aspiring towards perfection in every aspect of a child?s personality development. 
Army Public School, Bhuj was established in 1980, where it was first started as Flamingo Toddlers School to cater to Pre-Primary Education of the stn.
