DESCRIPTION :

Kendriya Vidyalaya is a system of Central Government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The system came into being in 1962 under the name "Central Schools" and has been affiliated with CBSE since then. Later, the name was changed to Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hinoo Shift 1 Ranchi was established in 1966 near A.G. More, Doranda Ranchi covering an area of about 4.7 acres of land. It has its own pucca grand building having spacious classrooms, big library of good books, well equipped three computer labs, a leveled playground surrounded by high boundary walls from all sides to provide a safe and suitable environment. It is a co-educational institution. It has the classes from I to XII 3 sections in each.
