BRL DAV Public School Bhandaridah, owes its origin to the same educational movement as launched by the followers of Swami Dayanand.

As a result of mutual agreement between Bharat Refactories Ltd. and DAV College Managing Committee New Delhi, this school was established in July 1995 with a few classrooms and 650 students (approx.).

Since then the school has not looked behind and the graph of growth is always upward upward. Now it has 4 separate buildings for Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Sr. Secondary with complete infrastructure and some 2600 students
