Kendriya Vidyalaya Sahibganj

DESCRIPTION :

The year was 1962. It all started with a small group of 20 Regimental Schools which were subsequently christened as Central Schools. Three years later i.e. 1965, on 15th December Kendriya vidyalaya Sangathan (K.V.S.) was born. Since then the number of Kendriya Vidyalayas has been growing in leaps and bounds.

As per KVS (H.Q.), New Delhi, Letter No. F.11029-12 K.V.S. (Admn.1) dated 10-07-2010, the Hon?ble HRM cum Chairman, KVS has approved the opening of K.V. Sahibganj under Civil Sector. The Kendirya Vidyalaya Sangathan envisaged it as a great centre of learning for the children of Sahibganj. The vidyalaya will presently function from a temporary accommodation at Habibpur, provided by the District Administration, which is the sponsoring agency.
Now the school is running up to class X.
