Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dipatoli, Ranchi, one of the constituent unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established in the year 1979 and is administratively under KVS Ranchi Region. It is located about 2 km from ?Booti More, Ranchi? and situated opposite to the 23 Infantry Division Head Quarter with the Cockerel Orchard to its left and officer?s enclave to its right 

The vidyalaya has well equipped laboratories for Computer, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography. There are separate rooms for examination, Art, Music and SUPW. At present it has 26 computers for providing education in Information Technology, The vidyalaya has a very rich library having about 10,000 books.

Games & Sports :
Vidyalaya has a big play ground with Basket Ball, Football, Cricket, Kho-Kho, and Volleyball Courts provide facilities for all major games and sports to encourage healthy, competitive character building and physical stamina.
