Realising the need to spread the light of education at chas and its neighbouring areas, Adarsh Vidya Mandir was established in the year 1970 with a little number of students. During this year the school was run upto primary at the Dharmashala more under the guidance of Balmiki Singh. Gradually the school grew strength to strength and the formation of panchayat samiti took place. Mr.Chauthmal Kejriwal was the first secretary of the samiti. In the year 1990 the school got affiliation upto class 10 and in the year 2000 the school was shifted to Darkunagar. The school has spread its wings and reputation with the flavour of quality education and inculcating ideals which can stand in good stead in lives of children who are the makers of India with their knowledge,skill,devotion and dedication. Building better nation by building better boys and girls is the sole motto of the school.

Managed by a well reputated social organisation,Marwari Panchayat Trust,Chas(Bokaro), the school has produced a large number of successfull students who have raised the status of the school as well as the society; it is obne of the best schools in chas,bokaro.This will be our endeavour to equip students with the best they deserve.
