DESCRIPTION :

Kendriya Vidyalaya Raichur was started on 28/03/1999. The Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII (Single Section) with an enrolment of 480 as on 31.05.2014 with Science Streams at the Plus Two level.

The Vidyalaya has maintained academic standards with 100% in CBSE Class XII and Class X Examination in the year of 2013-14.

The Vidyalaya provides opportunities to its students to participate in a variety of activities. The Vidyalaya participates in Games, Sports and other activities organized locally and also at Inter Kendriya Vidyalaya level by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The activities include Science and Mathematics Olympiad, Green Olympiad, National Level Essay and Painting Competitions, Youth Parliament, Adventure Activities, Educational Tours, Scouting etc.
