Devika Kannada English Medium School, Ranebennur

Shri Venkateshwar Education Society Registered under the Societies Registration Act in the year 1991 with the object of providing better education to the needy children of Ranebennur city and villages around. The Society started the Devika English Medium School in the year 1991 for LKG and UKG with 70 students. Later on, classes were added from 1st to 10th standard year by year. In the year 1993, the society obtained the permission from the Government of Karnataka to run the English Medium School and also the permission to run the High School from the year 1999. Besides the English Medium School the society has thought of giving importance to the Regional language of our State. Therefore the Kannada Medium School was started in the year 1994 and at present classes from LKG to Pre-University are run by the society. The Kannada Medium School too has obtained recognition from the Government of Karnataka. Our society has constructed Lord Shri Venkateshwara Temple in the school premises to promote Indian culture.
