DESCRIPTION :

Alice Christian High School established in 1980 as an English Medium School was founded in memory of Mrs Alice Pettigrew, who was the wife of Reverend William Pettigrew, the first American Baptist Missionary in the present day Ukhrul District. Sponsored by the Women Society of the Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association, the school is recognized by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur, and it was upgraded into Alice Christian Higher Secondary School in 2000.

The School is a multi-purpose school projecting an education with wholesome training that will develop the character and personality of each student, who will become a useful citizens of the country. Facilities are provided for the intellectual, moral, spiritual, emotional, and social formation of the students. The unfolding of the personalities, the total development of the students in the life of Christian atmosphere is our cherished goal and with this, our primary thrust is the ?provision of adequate Christian ministry for complete spiritual development of young people? in the school.
