DAV Centenary Public School, Jind was launched in April 1988 to commemorate the centenary of inception of DAV movement. the School functions directly under the control of D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi. The School is affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi up to Se. Sec. Level. The School campus is spread on an area of 5 acres land. The two three-storeyed bulidings comprising 70 classrooms, well equipped and spacious laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, English and MAths, presents an impressive look with architectural beauty. The school has vast playgrounds along with 200 meter track with the facility for various Administrative Blocks give a calm and congenial environment conductive to learning and other coscholastic activities. 

The campus has a picturesque look with carefully planned landscapes having planted trees, hedges and creepers which provide an ideal atmosphere for children to develop their aesthetic sense and holistic personality. The school has on its campus a beautiful Yajnashala where students and teachers perform Yajna on daily basis. The school has about 3100 students on its rolls and 131 members of teaching & non-teaching staff. The school has well qualified and experienced teachers who are working witha missionary zeal and striving to the utmost to impart complete and quality education to bring about all-round development of students. We aim to instill in the students a sense of responsibility and initiative so that they turn out to be productive & duty-conscious citizens. with this end in mind, we lay equal thrust on scholastic and co-scholastic domains of teaching learning programme. 

To ensure all-round development of children, we give them varied exposure through NCC, NSS, Scout and Guide, Eco Club, Sports & Health Club, Martial Arts, Yoga, Science Clubs and English debating society, Arya Yuva Samaj along with the activities of various others subjects clubs.

Various hobby classes are arranged on regular basis with particular stress on the training of vocal and instrumental music. The students take part in various socail activities like adult literacy programme, pulse polio programme, tree plantation and cleanliness programmes.
