DESCRIPTION :

Namchi Public School, was established on the 28th of July, 1989, by the uman Resources Development Department, Government of Sikkim, India. After three years, in January 1992, with 99 students and a property of 25 acres, it rossed a turning point when the Government thought it right to hand it over to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Darjeeling ? Sikkim.

The school is now under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Darjeeling ? Sikkim, who is also the president of its Governing Body. Since then, it has been growing from strength to strength. Today, it runs along
the lines of the world?s best educational practices with the State of the Art educational environment for all round development in academic, co-curricular and extracurricular curriculum.

Namchi Public School, is situated at an altitude of 1,675 m (5500 feet), above the sea level, in the picturesque town of Namchi, headquarters of South District, overlooking the mighty Himalayas, with panoramic view of the snowcapped mountains and vast stretches of valley.
