Drona's International School was founded in 1983 by Late Dr. P. S. Bist who was a visionary. Dr. Bist was a very pious, highly educated and a noble soul who started the School with a limited number of students up to Class V with a motive to provide a perfect base of learning and the all round development of a child. In its early phase the school was a preparatory school preparing students for admission to various prestigious school like The Doon School, Welham Boys' School, Welham Girls' School, St. Georges etc. Since then, the school has moved on from strength to strength and is now a 10+2 school and was affiliated to the C.B.S.E. (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi, registered under the (Societies Registration Act of 1860), in 1997 and aims at imparting a sound, intellectual, moral and a holistic education to children from all backgrounds. Drona's International School aims at inculcating leadership qualities, high, moral character and a sense of discipline among its students.
