Soar Valley Public School Pithoragarh is a senior secondary school affiliated to CBSE Delhi. It is located in the heart of the city Pithoragarh. It was established in 1982. The Great scholar and educationist Late Mr. ID Pant was the Inspirational personality of this school. The learned and kind hearted doctor, Mr. NC Pathak was the chairman of this reputed school. Under the chairmanship of late Dr. NC Pathak this school got many awards. Though Mr. ID Pant and Mr. NC Pathak are physically no more with us, still their holly souls are inspiring and guiding the entire family of Soar Valley Public School to achieve even higher goals in the field of education.

Soar Valley Sr. Sec. Public School has played a vital role to improve the condition of education in District Pithoragarh. This school is working hard for the all rounded development of the students. There are more than one thousand students in this school. The school is conducting the classes from 1st standard to 12th standard. In Sr. Sec. level there are two streams : science and Commerce.

Soar Valley Sr. Sec. Public School is also excellent for its 10th and 12th results. Every year many students get more than 90% marks in class 12th examinations conducted by C.B.S.E. Delhi. Many students have been selected in the Indian Army as Officers. Some students have been selected in civil services after their graduation. Thousand students have been selected in the national and international companies till now. The school has its own buildings. The environment of the school is very neat and clean. The school has trained teaching staff which is the backbone of the school.
