DESCRIPTION :

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Madurai started functioning with effect from 15.04.2004 due to the efforts undertaken by social workers.

Important Milestones
Vidyalaya started functioning up to classes VIII - single section.Within 4 months, two sections were sanctioned up to class VIII due to the heavy pressure from the public and availability of space in the building.

During the year 2005, IX std came into existence and in 2006, X std . 20 students were there in the first batch of X standard who produced 100% result in CBSE Exam - 2007. At present we have classes up to V with three sections in each class,Classes VI-X standard with two sections in each class and Classes XI, XII with 2 sections(Science stream,Commerce Stream).
