Kendriya vidyalaya, Karaikal is situated in the temple city of Karaikal. It was established on 24 8.2010. The school was inaugurated By Honourable Minister V.Narayanasamy Minister of state in the Prime minister?s office. The Land will be given by the State government on lease.
The work is under progress. The Vidyalaya has a charmed life-housed in a modest and transitory accommodation. It is a Civil sector school. Presently the school is running in the Parvatheeshwarar temple complex. The school is having classes up to VI. The strength of the school as on today is 255 comprising of 151boys and 104 girls.
