Servite Higher Secondary School, Karaikal

The Servants of Mary fondly called ?The Servites? stepped into the Union Territory of Puducherry with a vision and mission to be established.

They entered the rural area of Kottucherry some four Kms from Karaikal. It was a very backward area. Of course, there was and there is a government school called as V.O.C High school. Four nuns started their mission with medical service. They helped all the poor and the needy people; the majority were vendors, farmers and fishermen.

Their vision was to impart education to the poor and downtrodden, especially to uplift the status of girl children.
