Kendriya Vidyalaya, BSF Pokaran

DESCRIPTION :

The School is located 6 Kms away from Pokaran bus stand on the roadwhich leads to Ramdeora from Pokaran. Presently the School is functioning in its own well equipped building and will prove to be the pride of Pokaran City .This Vidyalaya started functioning independently  from April 2003 and all experienced and regular staff were sent to this Vidyalaya  from KVS HQ .Since then the school is functioning  effectively and    various activities  have  been conducted  in this Vidyalaya
 
The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz.,

To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including Defense and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education

To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education

 To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc.
