Anand Vidya Mandir was established in 1979-80 in Mohalla Gopalgarh, near the Church, Bharatpur. It was established by Dr. Onkaranand and Smt. Usha Anand. Dr. Onkaranand hailed from Moroli Kalan near Bharatpur. His primary education was in a Govt. school and later studied at Banaras Hindu University, Banaras, where he did triple M.A. and was a Gold Medalist and Topper of the university. After obtaining a PH.d from Banaras Hindu University, Banaras, he served as a professor for 15 years at Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar. Smt. Usha Anand, wife of Dr. Onkaranand, was educated in Rajasthan. Primary schooling was at SBK Girl?s School, and did her graduation and post-graduation from Rajasthan University. She did her B.Ed from Kota Open University. She holds the post of the Principal of the school and is responsible for the upliftment of the school.
