The school is run and managed by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi since 1984. This school is named after Late Maj. R.N. Kapoor, who was a member of the local DAV College Managing Committee. After his death his wife Smt. Raj Rani Kapoor, who had a similar passion for Education and Service, donated her bungalow for the noble cause of education. Today the school has about 1150 students on roll up to XII class. Scores of Medals and shields stand witness to its phenomenal rise. We believe that every child is unique and very important. Knowing the fact that communication skill is very important in one?s life, children are encouraged to speak at their own on different topics. Every child is brought on stage to deliver speech right from Nursery to XII. Special English Speaking classes are arranged for the children. Following CCE pattern of CBSE, we work hard in making our students realising that every day of the school is important. The steps are taken here at school to encourage children to reflect on their own learning to pursue imaginative activities and to question. We recognise that, given space, time and freedom, children generate new knowledge with the information passed on to them by adults. We perceive and treat children as participants in learning, not as receivers only. We can proudly say that we care the children and they will face life well.
