St. Jude?s Convent School, Shahkot, is founded and managed by the ?Diocese of Jalandhar?. It is run by the Sisters of Franciscan Clarist Congregation, under the patronage and guidance of the Bishop of the ?Diocese of Jalandhar,? presently, Rt. Rev. Dr. Anil Jose Thomas Couto.

 The Priest, who is the Director of the school, is the over-all incharge of everything. This school, being a minority community institution by Christians (registered under the Charitable Societies? Act), enjoys all the rights and privileges enshrined in the Articles 29 and 30 of the Indian Constitution. This is a co-education school, open to students of all caste and creed.

Its motto is: WISDOM - LIGHT - LOVE. Studies open the thresholds of Widsom. Wisdom enables us to find the true Light. Guided by that Light, one finds the path of Love. Every effort is being made to impart to our students a sound and all-round education, in keeping with the Nation?s aspirations, thereby making them morally, physically and mentally fit to become active, useful and worthy citizens of our Motherland.
