The third in the chain of Amity Schools, Amity International School, East Delhi was established by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation in the year 1999. It owes its inception to the profound vision of its Founder Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan and its Chairperson Dr.(Mrs) Amita Chauhan. AIS is a co-educational English medium public school located at Mayur Vihar, Phase-I New Delhi.
Yoga is taught to students of the Primary Wing from Classes I-V. An age-old form of fitness whose efficacy has come to the forefront globally, the youngsters through yoga, develop flexibility, balance, poise and concentration. Regular asanas prove beneficial for both mind and body and leave the youngsters energized and ready for academic and co-curricular pursuits. Regular Yoga workshops are held for students (VI upwards) and staff as well.

Physical education is highlighted at all levels for no education is complete without according due importance to sports. It is even offered as a subject under the CBSE course curriculum for std. XI and XII. Values such as self-control, discipline, courage and perseverance are instilled among the children through a wide range of games and sports programmes based on their needs and interests. Competitive sports, which are an integral part of the school curriculum, not only motivate the children but also help in developing sportsmanship, tolerance and teamwork.
