Saraswati Vidyalaya High School & Jr College Thane

S.V.P.T?s Saraswati Vidyalaya High School was established in the year 1981 at Namdevwadi in Thane. The school presently owns its premises, which was inaugurated on 1st October, 1991 by the then Vice President of India, late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. The school is efficiently run by the Saraswati Vidya Prasarak Trust.

In the year 1997, the Trustees started the Junior College of Science and are the pioneers in introducing bi-focal vocational course (Computer Science & Electronics) in Thane.

The School has been administered under the able guidance of our respected Principal, Mrs. Korde, for last 25 years. The year 2006 witnessed the Silver Jubilee of the School. Today the school has more than 3000 students on roll. It is well equipped with all modern infrastructure. The inauguration of the new branch of the school at Godbunder Road in 2008 is a matter of great pride for the Trustees, the Principal and all those connected with the school.
