ASHIANA PUBLIC SCHOOL was founded in April, 1989, by Mrs. Lalita Prakash, an eminent educationist. Mrs. Prakash has brought to the fore the methodology of activity and worksheet oriented teaching which captures the attention of young children and allows concepts to be grasped quickly. Worksheets and books written by Mrs. Prakash are published and used in schools across the country.
From an initial campus in Sector 9, Ashiana Public School opened its second campus over two and a half sprawling acres in Sector 46 Chandigarh. Now nearing its silver jubilee, Ashiana Public School takes pride in combining the traditions of our age old Indian educational system with the best practices and technologies that contemporary modern education has to offer.
