Welcome to Web site of KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, No.2,JLA ,BAREILLY CANTT.
With a view to provide educational facilities of a uniform standard and high quality and to cater to the educational needs of its transferable employees, the Govt. of India, established Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource and Development in 1963-64. All the Kendriya Vidyalayas have a common syllabi and are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Each Vidyalaya is a 'Miniature India' in itself and develops a spirit of national integration, communal harmony, patriotism and brotherhood in it's pupils.
The Vidyalayas give priority to the wards of Defence Personnel and transferable Central Govt. Employees. Other floating population having a common pattern of education are also eligible. The medium of instruction is bilingual so that the children have proficiency in both the languages.
To pursue excellence and to set the pace in the field of education the quality of teaching is kept high by maintaining an appropriate teacher-pupil ratio and providing teachers with high qualification.
