DESCRIPTION :

Far from the Madding crowd, in the lap of nature the Vidyalaya is functioning quietly in the northern city side of Heerapatti at Azamgarh, 8 Km. away from the Bus station. The Vidyalaya is of CIVIL SECTOR, under the chairman-ship of the District Magistrate, Azamgarh(U.P.). The classes of X and XII were started in 1979 and 1984 respectivgaly. There are two sections in each class from 1st to 10th but only one in 11th and 12th, having science & Commerce stream., Due to its excellent educational achievements the Vidyalaya has been declared a Model School by the Sangathan in year 2000-2001, and with the same spirit the Vidyalaya is touching the new horizon in the field of results of Xth and XIIth till date.
 There are an excellent facilities of Computer Education with two Labs, games and sports facilities, program for carrier guidance and counseling, program for NEAP and under Common Minimum Programme /TLM the Primary class children are given the best education as per the norms of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
